Franz Rohwer

Franz Rohwer (born May 15, 1905 in San Francisco , † November 23, 1981 in Neumünster ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Rohwer was an authorized signatory by profession . Franz Rohwer ran an iron foundry and machine factory in Wittorf . In 1939 there was a staff of 120; 90 workers and 30 apprentices. During the Second World War , up to 50 forced laborers from different countries of origin were employed there.

He became a city councilor in Neumünster in 1946 and was a member and secretary of the second appointed state parliament of Schleswig-Holstein in 1946 and 1947 .

A street in Neumünster leading from the Mühlenhof and a square on the Holsatenring with a New Apostolic Church are named after him.
