Franz Tuschek

Franz Tuschek (March 27, 1899 - January 7, 1967 ) was an Austrian marathon runner .

Nine times he was Austrian marathon champion (1926, 1927, 1929-1935), where he set up his personal best in 1933 with 2:36:55 h.

In 1931 he was second in the Hungarian Championship and in 1933 third in the Italian Championship. At the European Athletics Championships in 1934 , he did not reach the goal.

In 1936 he came in 14th place in 2:46:29 h at the Olympic Games in Berlin .

He was Austrian champion seven times in the 25 km road race (1926, 1927, 1929, 1931–1934) and once in the cross country race (1926).
