Franz Vallée

Franz Vallée (born July 21, 1964 in Munich ) is a German business economist specializing in logistics and IT.

Life

After graduating from high school in Bocholt , Vallée studied business administration at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster from 1984 to 1989 and graduated with a degree in business administration. He then worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Industrial and Hospital Management at the Westphalian Wilhelms University, where he received his doctorate in 1994 on the subject of capital commitment in short-term decision-making models.

From 1994 to 2004 he held various management positions at Anneliese Zementwerke AG, now HeidelbergCement .

Since 2005 he has been teaching with an endowed professorship as a professor at the University of Applied Sciences in Münster . He is professor at the Institute for Logistics and Facility Management (ILF) and director of the Institute for Process Management and Logistics (IPL) with a research focus on procurement, production, distribution and disposal in the field of international value chains. He is also primarily responsible for the master’s course in logistics. He presents his research results at conferences such as the World Conference on Transportation Research.

Since 2012 he has been the spokesman for the Münster / Osnabrück regional group in the Federal Association for Logistics.

He is the scientific director and partner of the consulting firm VuP GmbH, Vallée & Partner ,.

Vallée is married and has two children.
