Ingrid Pfendtner

Ingrid Pfendtner (born June 6, 1959 in Mannheim ) is a German science journalist and non-fiction author.

Life

After completing her studies in biology with a focus on zoology at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg and a journalistic postgraduate course, she completed various internships at Natur (today: Natur & Kosmos ), in the science department of Stern and at Brigitte . After returning from long journeys lasting several years, she initially wrote about popular science topics in the weekend editions of daily newspapers such as the Rheinpfalz or Mannheimer Morgen , but then soon specialized in popular guides and non-fiction books in the fields of biology, botany and medicine. Ingrid Pfendtner lives in Mannheim.
