Franz Wolf (Manager)

Franz Thomas Alexander Wolf (born May 1953 in Berlin ) is a German manager .

He became famous for the offshore leaks affair. Wolf is a director of CTF Holding and numerous other holdings that became known in the context of the offshore leaks. He is the son of Markus Wolf , the head of the Enlightenment Headquarters in the Ministry for State Security of the German Democratic Republic and grandson of the writer Friedrich Wolf .

Documents from the offshore leaks affair made it public that Franz Wolf in Gibraltar manages a complex network of companies for the Alfa Group founded by Michail Maratowitsch Fridman . According to the documents, numerous offshore companies from the Caribbean to Russia are involved. Wolf is the authorized representative of the Crown Finance Foundation in Liechtenstein, which is involved in numerous other companies through the CTF Holding in Gibraltar (director Franz Wolf), which in turn are headed by Franz Wolf. The CTF Holding is said to have invested 60 billion dollars internationally. Parts of the company network unintentionally attracted public attention in November 2002 when the oil tanker Prestige sank off the northwest coast of Spain and caused one of the largest maritime oil spills to date on European coasts. The tanker was of the members of the Alfa Group and CTF Holding Crown Resources ge charters Service.
