Franz X. Bogner
Franz X. Bogner (* 1953 in Hirschau ) is a German biologist , educator , photographer , non-fiction author and university professor . He is Head of Biology Didactics at the Faculty of Biology, Chemistry and Geosciences at the University of Bayreuth . His research topics are teaching-learning research (environment / ecology / biodiversity , health, computers in class, learning in the laboratory) and teacher training.
Life
After studying biology and chemistry, Bogner worked from 1980 to 1996 as a teacher for the subjects of biology, chemistry and photography . Since 1997 he has been professor of biology and its didactics, until 2004 at the Ludwigsburg University of Education and since 2004 at the University of Bayreuth. He is the director of the Z-MNU (= Center for the Promotion of Mathematics and Science Education). As an aerial photographer , he has published numerous illustrated books with aerial photographs from Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
