Franz Xaver Gärtner (physician)

Franz Xaver Gärtner (born January 8, 1925 in Erding ; † May 31, 2012 in Munich ) was a German physician , professor and retired general physician . D.

From April 1979 to March 1982, Gärtner headed the Bundeswehr Central Hospital in Koblenz as chief physician and was then commander of the Bundeswehr Medical Academy until March 1985 . He lived in Munich .

Gärtner was invested in the order of knights of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem on December 9, 1978 in Frankfurt am Main .
