Franz Xaver Heilig (born October 30, 1826 in Pfullendorf ; † August 18, 1888 in Szegedin ) was a merchant, mayor and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Heilig attended grammar school, he was the boss and head of a wholesaler of regional products. For over 25 years he was a member of the local government and mayor of Pfullendorf. He was a long-time member of the Second Baden Chamber . A street in Pfullendorf is named after him.

From 1877 to 1881 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Baden 1 (Pfullendorf) and the National Liberal Party .
