Franz Xaver Weixler

Franz Xaver Weixler (born November 4, 1870 in Blindheim , † August 16, 1939 in Munich ) was a German politician.

Live and act

Weixler was born the son of a saddler. After attending primary school, he also learned the saddlery. In addition, he attended the holiday school. From 1910 he attended economic and social courses at the Volksverein for Catholic Germany in Mönchengladbach.

After the First World War , Weixler joined the Bavarian People's Party (BVP). From March to June 1920 he was a member of the Weimar National Assembly as a member of constituency 24 (Upper Bavaria-Swabia). In May 1922 Weixler entered the Weimar Republic's first Reichstag, elected in June 1920 , in the replacement process for the late BVP Reichstag member Josef Jaud , in which he represented constituency 27 (Upper Bavaria-Swabia) until May 1924.
