Franz Zastěra
Franz Zastěra (also Zastiera ) (* around 1818 in Vienna , † around 1880 in Stockerau ) was an Austrian landscape painter and engraver.
Life
Franz Zastěra exhibited oil paintings and watercolors, especially landscapes, at the St. Anna Academy exhibitions in 1835 and 1837 . He then also created engravings based on his own and other people's templates. His whereabouts were not known; pictures and engravings by the artist were found in the estate of Mrs. Schiller in Stockerau in 1890.
