Franz von Schönberg
Friedrich Christian Franz von Schönberg (born April 3, 1795 in Herzogswalde , † July 3, 1861 in Wildbad Gastein ) was a German chamberlain and manor owner .
Life
He came from the Meissen noble family von Schönberg and was the son of the governor Ferdinand Ludwig Christian von Schönberg on Oberreinsberg in the Electorate of Saxony and his wife Friederika Dorothea Sophia von Tümpling (1754-1820).
Like many of his family members, Franz von Schönberg embarked on an administrative career in which he made it to chamberlain.
Immediately before Christmas 1824 he received from his father his manor Kreipitzsch and the castle ruins of Rudelsburg an der Saale. Franz von Schönberg retired there.
In 1861 he died during a spa stay in the Gastein Valley in the Salzburg region. After death, his deposited will was opened in which he made six of his seven children heirs. The regulation of his estate dragged on over several years.
family
He married Charlotte Amalie Wilhelmine Louise nee von Schönberg from Krummenhennersdorf , a distant relative. She died on August 20, 1860.
He had seven children with his wife:
- Haubold Friedrich Ferdinand Franz (1821–1897), went to Silesia,
- Ferdinand († 1857),
- Wolf Ferdinand Franz (* 1825),
- Bernhard Karl Franz (1827–1902),
- Heinrich Franz Julius (* 1828), was disinherited from his parents,

- Hans Moritz Franz († 1868 in Glogau).
