Franziska Bremer (born June 27, 1985 in Cottbus ) is a German volleyball player .

Career

Bremer comes from a volleyball family and was trained by her mother. She started her own career in her hometown at Energie Cottbus . From there she came to the junior team of the VC Olympia Berlin and played in the junior national team from 1999 to 2004. She won with her team at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Murcia in 2001 and finished fourth at the European Junior Championships in 2002. On the initiative of the young trainer Rudi Sonnenbichler , the diagonal attacker went to VC Olympia Sinsheim. In 2009 she was promoted to the Bundesliga with SV Sinsheim . She was also appointed to the senior national team. After a first division season, she moved to Allianz MTV Stuttgart . There she changed positions and now played as a middle blocker. In 2011 she won the DVV Cup with her new club . In 2014, Bremer ended her professional volleyball career and has since played in the second Stuttgart team.
