Franziska Kloos

Maria Anna Franziska Salesia Kloos , OSB (born August 24, 1941 in Altmannshofen near Leutkirch ; born Aloisia Kloos ) is a German religious .

Career

Kloos was born the fourth of six children to farmers. After studying and professing , she worked as a teacher from 1966. On February 16, 1985, she was elected Abbess of the Benedictine Abbey of St. Walburg . She resigned from her position on December 27, 2018. Hildegard Dubnick became her successor in 2019 .
