The Fraser Nunatak is a 2070 m high nunatak in the Australian Antarctic Territory . It rises 22 km southwest of the Wilhoite Nunatakker and west of the Churchill Mountains .
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2003 after the New Zealand physicist Graham Fraser from the University of Canterbury , who at the time of the naming could look back on 45 years of research in Antarctica and was involved in 11 campaigns in geomagnetic surveys from 1989 onwards.
