Fraternitatis tuae
Fraternitatis tuae is a papal bull dated March 13, 1228, Pope Gregory IX. takes a position in this bull on the Eucharistic Miracle of Alatri .
Miracle of Alatri
In 1228, at the behest of her friend, a young woman abusively took a consecrated host home and kept it there. After a few days, her guilt made her take the host out of its hiding place. She found that it had taken on a fleshy color. She brought this host to her local pastor , who handed it over to the responsible bishop . The bishop informed Pope Gregory IX, who in turn responded with the bull "Fraternitatis tuae".

In a few words, Gregory IX went. on what was happening in Alatri and conveyed his brotherly recommendation to the bishop. A simple penance should be imposed on the girl , since she had not so much committed a serious sin as she had succumbed to the weakness of evil. Appropriate disciplinary measures should be taken against the instigator, he recommended . In addition, the wrongdoer should also go to the neighboring bishops to confess her sins and ask for forgiveness.
