Fred Hubert
Fred Hubert (* 1930 in Berlin ) is a former German science fiction - author in the GDR .
Life
Fred Hubert began an apprenticeship as a cliché etcher , which he did not finish. After the Second World War he worked in various professions, most recently as a caretaker.
His only two works are considered noncommittal, adventurous and artistically undemanding; they are part of a group of similar texts that were replaced by the appearance of a new generation of science fiction authors from the GDR in the late 1970s.
