Frederick Scott
Frederick Scott (born July 14, 1942 - January 31, 2001 ) was a British product designer .
life and work
Scott designed a. a. for the British furniture manufacturer Hille the Supporto office chair. The office chair is one of the few design classics from Great Britain and one of the first ergonomically designed office chairs. The chair was designed in 1976 and produced from 1979. Other furniture such as tables and benches were designed and produced under the name Supporto . The British newspaper The Independent called the Supporto the best office chair in the world.
