The Copa del Presidente de la República 1934 (also: Copa de España de Fútbol 1934 ) was the 32nd edition of the Spanish soccer cup competition , which takes place today under the name Copa del Rey . The competition started on March 11th and ended with the final on May 6th, 1934 in the Estadi Montjuïc in Barcelona . The defending champion of the cup competition was Athletic Bilbao . Madrid FC won the title by beating Valencia FC 2-1 in the final .
