Copa del Rey 1997/98

The 1998/99 Copa del Rey was the 95th edition of the Spanish Football Cup.

The competition started on September 1, 1998 and ended with the final on June 26, 1999 in the Estadio Olímpico ( Seville ). The defending champion of the cup competition was FC Barcelona . Valencia FC won the title with a 3-0 win in the final against Atlético Madrid . As Valencia qualified for the UEFA Champions League in the 1998/99 season , Atlético Madrid took part in the 1999/2000 UEFA Cup .
