The Copa del Generalísimo 1958/59 was the 55th edition of the Spanish soccer cup competition , which takes place today under the name Copa del Rey .

The competition started on December 21, 1958 and ended with the final on June 21, 1959 at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid . The defending champion of the cup competition was Atlético Bilbao . CF Barcelona won the title with a 4-1 win in the final against FC Granada .
