The Copa del Generalísimo 1941 was the 37th edition of the Spanish soccer cup competition , which takes place today under the name Copa del Rey .
The competition started on March 23 and ended with the final on June 29, 1941 in the Estadio Chamartín in Madrid . The defending champion of the cup competition was RCD Español . Valencia FC won the title for the first time in the club's history with a 3-1 win in the final against RCD Español .
