The Copa del Generalísimo 1947 was the 43rd edition of the Spanish soccer cup competition , which takes place today under the name Copa del Rey .
The competition started on April 20 and ended with the final on June 22, 1947 in the Estadio Municipal de Riazor in A Coruña . The defending champion of the cup competition was Real Madrid . Real Madrid won the title again with a 2-0 win after extra time in the final against RCD Español .
