Copa del Generalísimo 1960/61

The Copa del Generalísimo 1961/62 was the 58th edition of the Spanish soccer cup competition , which takes place today under the name Copa del Rey .

The competition started on November 12, 1961 and ended with the final on July 8, 1962 at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid . The defending champion of the cup competition was Atlético Madrid . Real Madrid won the title by beating Sevilla FC 2-1 in the final .
