Copa del Rey 1908

The 1909 Copa del Rey was the seventh edition of the Spanish soccer cup competition.

The competition took place from April 4 to April 8, 1909. The tournament was attended by FC Barcelona (Catalonia region), Athletic Bilbao (Bizkaia, Basque Country), Español de Madrid (Madrid), Galicia FC (Pontevedra, Galicia) and Club Ciclista de San Sebastián (Gipuzkoa, Basque Country). The team from San Sebastian was the only real club team at this tournament, they had only been renamed and officially registered a few weeks before the tournament; a registration under the name San Sebastián FC would have failed because this club was not registered. Club Ciclista won the tournament with a 3-1 win over Español de Madrid.
