The Copa del Generalísimo 1952 was the 48th edition of the Spanish soccer cup competition , which takes place today under the name Copa del Rey .
The competition started on April 17th and ended with the final on May 25, 1952 in the Nuevo Estadio Chamartín in Madrid . The defending champion of the cup competition was CF Barcelona . The title was won again by CF Barcelona with a 4-2 win after extra time in the final against FC Valencia .
