The Copa del Rey 1990/91 was the 87th edition of the Spanish Football Cup.
The competition started on September 5, 1990 and ended with the final on June 29, 1991 in the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu ( Madrid ). The defending champion of the cup competition was FC Barcelona . Atlético Madrid won the title with a 1-0 win after extra time in the final against RCD Mallorca . Atlético thus qualified for the European Cup Winners' Cup 1991/92 .
First main round
The first legs were played on September 5, 6 and 12, the second legs on September 26, 1990.
- CD Cala d'Or , Caudal Deportivo , CD Santurtzi , CD Mallén , CD Blanes , RSD Alcalá , Yeclano CF and CD Burriana received a bye.
Second main round
The first legs were played on October 16, 17 and 18, the second legs on October 31 and November 1, 1990.
