The Copa del Generalísimo 1951 was the 47th edition of the Spanish soccer cup competition , which takes place today under the name Copa del Rey .
The competition started on April 29th and ended with the final on May 27th, 1951 in the Nuevo Estadio Chamartín in Madrid . The defending champion of the cup competition was Atlético Bilbao . CF Barcelona won the title with a 3-0 victory in the final against Real Sociedad .
