Mateo Nicolau (* 18th August 1920 in General Pico , La Pampa , † 29. October 2005 ) is a former Argentine football player at the position of the striker , the most active years of his career in Mexico spent and four years at FC Barcelona acted .

Life

Nicolau began his professional career in 1940 at CA San Lorenzo de Almagro , with whom he twice (1941 and 1942) was Argentine runner-up behind the then outstanding team of River Plate . As a runner-up you had the opportunity to play the Copa de Confraternidad Escobar-Gerona , which San Lorenzo won in 1941.
