The Copa del Rey 1982/83 was the 79th edition of the Spanish Football Cup .

The competition started on September 8, 1982 and ended with the final on June 4, 1983 in La Romareda in Saragossa . The defending champion of the cup competition was Real Madrid . FC Barcelona won the title by beating Real Madrid 2-1 in the final. This qualified the Catalans for the European Cup Winners' Cup 1983/84 .
