Miguel Bernardo Bianquetti , called Migueli (born December 19, 1951 in Ceuta ), is a former Spanish football player .

The defender is the former record holder for most competitive games in the FC Barcelona jersey with a total of 549 appearances.

Player career

Migueli began his career in 1970 with the Andalusian club FC Cádiz . In 1973 he moved to FC Barcelona . He experienced his most successful time in Barcelona . He won two Spanish championships with Barça, four times the Spanish Cup and once the Spanish Supercup. He was also able to win the European Cup Winners' Cup three times with Barça . In his first final in 1979 against Fortuna Düsseldorf , Migueli played the entire game with a broken collarbone . Migueli ended his career in 1989.

Internationally, he played 31 times for the Spanish selection and scored one goal. He took part in the Football World Cup in Argentina in 1978 , where the Spaniards were eliminated in the first group stage as third party. Migueli later took part in the 1980 European Football Championship in Italy , where the team was eliminated in the preliminary round, but this time as the bottom of the group.
