The Copa del Generalísimo 1944/45 was the 41st edition of the Spanish soccer cup competition , which takes place today under the name Copa del Rey .
The competition started on December 31, 1944 and ended with the final on June 24, 1945 in the Estadi Montjuïc in Barcelona . The defending champion of the cup competition was Atlético Bilbao . The title was won for the third time in a row Atlético Bilbao by a 3: 2 victory in the rematch of the final game last year against FC Valencia .
