The 1984/85 Copa del Rey was the 81st edition of the Spanish Football Cup .
The competition started on September 12, 1984 and ended with the final on June 30, 1985 at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid . The defending champion of the cup competition was Athletic Bilbao . Atlético Madrid won the title by beating last year's winner 2-1 in the final. This qualified the Madrilenians for the European Cup Winners' Cup 1985/86 .
First round
The first legs were played on September 12, 19, 20, 26, 27 and on October 2, 3, 4, 9 and 10, the second legs on September 19 and 26 and on September 3. , 4th, 10th, 11th, 16th, 17th, 23rd, 24th and 25th October 1984.
