The Copa del Rey 1928/29 was the 27th edition of the Spanish football cup.

The competition started on December 9, 1928 and ended with the final on February 3, 1929 at the Estadio Mestalla in Valencia . The defending champion of the cup competition was FC Barcelona . RCD Español won the title by beating Real Madrid 2-1 in the final .
