The Copa del Generalísimo 1955 was the 51st edition of the Spanish soccer cup competition , which takes place today under the name Copa del Rey .

The competition started on April 17th and ended with the final on June 5th, 1955 at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid . Defender of the Cup competition was FC Valencia . Atlético Bilbao won the title by beating Sevilla FC 1-0 in the final .
