Copa del Generalísimo 1963/64

The Copa del Generalísimo 1964/65 was the 61st edition of the Spanish soccer cup competition , which takes place today under the name Copa del Rey .

The competition started on November 14, 1964 and ended with the final on July 4, 1965 in the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu ( Madrid ). The defending champion of the cup competition was Real Saragossa . The finalists of the previous year played the title among themselves again. This time, however, Atlético Madrid won the title 1-0 in the final and thus took back the previous year's defeat in the final.
