Jorge Alberto Mendonça
Jorge Alberto Mendonça (born September 19, 1938 in Luanda , Angola , then still a Portuguese colony ) is a Portuguese-Angolan football player.
Career
Mendonça started his career with Sporting Lisbon in 1956 . From 1956 to 1958 he played for Sporting Braga and then moved to Deportivo La Coruña where he was under contract in 1957/1958. For the 1958 season he moved to Atlético Madrid , where he won the Spanish championship in 1966 and the Spanish Cup in 1960, 1961 and 1965. In 1962, he won the European Cup Winners' Cup with Atletico .
In 1967 Mendonça moved to FC Barcelona , where he played for three years and won the league title in 1968. In 1970 he ended his career with RCD Mallorca .
