Pedro Otto Bumbel Berbigier (born July 6, 1914 in Taquara , RS ; † August 2, 1998 in Porto Alegre ) was a Brazilian football player and coach .

Career

His career as a player is hardly documented. He began his coaching career at the age of 23 in Brazil at EC Novo Hamburgo . Over the years, he built enough reputation to find jobs in top division clubs. In 1953 he took over the national team of Costa Rica and in 1956 that of Honduras .

Then he moved to Europe. Here he coached various clubs in Portugal and Spain . Among them were well-known clubs such as FC Porto and Atlético Madrid . Most of the time he only looked after a team for one season.
