Santiago Bonilla
Santiago Bonilla Quesada (born March 1910 in Heredia , † 1982 in San José ) was a Costa Rican football coach and player who acted in the central midfield .
Life
Bonilla began his sports career in 1928 with his hometown club CS Herediano and later played for SG Española , CS La Libertad and LD Alajuelense , before moving to Mexico in 1937 , where he worked for CD Marte , CF Asturias and CF until 1948 Atlante played.
With Marte, he won the last amateur football championship of Mexico in the 1942/43 season.
At the international level, he won the CCCF championship with the Costa Rican national team in 1941 .
In 1950 he coached the Costa Rican national team and in 1951 he founded the CS Bonilla.
