Frederik Christiaan Woudhuizen

Frederik Christiaan Woudhuizen (born February 13, 1959 in Zutphen ) is a Dutch historian who is primarily concerned with the research of Indo-European languages and here in particular works on research into the Luwian languages .

Life

Woudhuizen graduated from high school in 1977. He finished his history studies in 1985 with an exam in ancient history and specializing in prehistory and early history of the Mediterranean region. He presented his dissertation with the title The earliest Cretan scripts to the Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2006, which earned him a Ph.D. PhD .

He is the former editor of Talanta. Proceedings of the Dutch Archaeological and Historical Society . He is currently working as a freelance scientist.
