Fredric Holen Bjørdal (born March 9, 1990 in Volda ) is a Norwegian politician of the social democratic party Arbeiderpartiet (Ap). He has been a member of parliament in Storting since 2013 .

Life

Bjørdal graduated from high school in 2009 and was chairman of the youth organization Arbeidernes Ungdomsfylking (AUF) in the province of Møre og Romsdal from 2009 to 2010 . Then studied Bjørdal one year psychology at the Technical University of Science and Norway (NTNU) and then to 2013 Planning and Administration at the University of Volda . From 2011 to 2013 he was a member of Ørsta’s local parliament . Between 2014 and 2018 he studied law at the University of Oslo , where he graduated with a master's degree.

Bjørdal entered the Norwegian national parliament in Storting for the first time in the 2013 general election . There he represents the constituency of Møre og Romsdal and he became a member of the Labor and Social Committee. After the 2017 election , he moved to the finance committee and became a member of the parliamentary committee of the Arbeiderpartiet.
