Fredrik Johnson (born May 31, 1963 in Linköping ) is a former Swedish squash player .

Career

Fredrik Johnson was active as a squash player in the 1980s and 1990s and in July 1990 achieved his highest ranking in the world rankings with 19th place.

With the Swedish national team he took part in the World Cup in 1983 , 1985 , 1989 , 1991 , 1993 , 1995 and 1997 . At European Championships he was with the national team in 1983 against England European champion. Between 1982 and 1989 he was with Sweden seven more times in the finals, each against England.

From 1986 to 1990 Johnson was five times in a row in the main draw of the individual world championship. He never made it into the second round. Between 1986 and 1993 he was Swedish national champion six times . In total, he won over 50 national titles in Sweden, including the juniors, seniors and team level. Since 2002 he has been the tournament director of the Swedish Open .
