Fredrik Lindahl (born September 16, 1983 in Hjo , Sweden ) is a Swedish handball player . He is 1.88 m tall and weighs 83 kg.
Lindahl, who plays for the Swedish club HK Malmö and plays for the Swedish men's national handball team, is mostly used on the right winger.
Career
Fredrik Lindahl started playing handball at HK Guldkroken in his hometown. Later he came to the youth boarding school of the Gothenburg top club Redbergslids IK , where he made his debut in the Swedish first division in 2001. With his club, Lindahl won the Swedish championship again in 2003, before it was more and more ousted by local rivals IK Sävehof . In 2006 Lindahl moved to Denmark to join FCK Håndbold. In his first season in Denmark, he won the Danish championship round with the capital club, but was eliminated in the semi-finals of the play-offs. A year later he finally won the Danish championship with FCK. In 2010 he won the Danish Cup. In the summer of 2010, Lindahl joined HK Malmö.
Fredrik Lindahl has played 58 international matches for the Swedish national team so far . For the 2007 men's handball world championship in Germany, he could not qualify with Sweden; at the European handball championship in Norway in 2008 he was only part of the extended squad of his country.
