Fredrik Persson (born November 2, 1981 in Bollnäs ) is a Swedish ice hockey player who has been under contract with HC Pustertal from the Italian A1 series since July 2010 .

Career

Fredrik Persson began his career as an ice hockey player at Alfta GIF . In 1999 he moved from there to Färjestad BK where he defended in the U20. In 2000 he moved to league competitor Brynäs IF and played there again in the youth team. In the same season Persson came to 25 missions at Tierp HK in the Swedish Allsvenskan . He signed a contract with Tingsryds AIF in the summer of 2001 before signing a two-year contract with Nybro Vikings IF prior to the 2002/03 season . In 2004 he moved to the Swedish club Rögle BK , where he finally did defensive work for four seasons. In Rögle, in addition to numerous missions in the Allsvenskan, he also played a few again in the club's U20 youth team. In 2008 he ventured south and signed with the German third division club ESC Halle 04 . After eight competitive games, he left the club as he was considered overqualified for the league. In the same year he found a new employer. He signed with the Danish club AaB Ishockey . After a good regular championship and very good play-offs, his contract was extended for another year in the summer of 2009. In July 2010 he signed a one-year contract with HC Pustertal from the Italian A1 series . In the early summer of 2011, he extended his contract in the Puster Valley for another year.
