Fredrik Risp

Fredrik Risp ( Lars Fredrik Risp , née Karlsson ; born December 15, 1980 in Lysekil ) is a Swedish football player .

Career

Risp started playing football in his hometown at Lysekils FF . In 1998 he joined IFK Gothenburg , where he was active for seven seasons in the Allsvenskan . This time was interrupted by a stay at Chievo Verona between January and June 2003. After the end of the 2005 season he moved to Turkey for the first division club Gençlerbirliği Ankara . In January 2007 he went together with teammate Ayman Abdelaziz to league rivals Trabzonspor . After Trabzonspor no longer paid him a salary, he moved to league rivals Ankaraspor on a free transfer . In 2009 he returned to the reigning Norwegian champions Stabæk Fotball on loan to Northern Europe .

Risp has so far made three appearances in the Swedish national team .
