The Free Evangelical School Hannover (FESH) is a private school independent agencies in Hanover , engaged in a cooperative comprehensive school with attached primary school is divided. It is the only Protestant school in the Hanover region and also the only Christian school that is not directly sponsored by a regional church or a diocese .
The headmaster (2017) is Siegmund Elm, the deputy headmaster is Charlotte Böse. Wiebke Flock is the administrative manager.
The sponsoring association of FESH was founded in 1986. It includes Christians from various Protestant free churches and regional churches. School operations began in the summer of 1989 with the year-by-year construction of the elementary school. From 1993 the secondary school was built. After a total of six different school locations in the founding phase, FESH found its permanent location in a former army barracks in the Bothfeld district . There a building for the KGS and the elementary school as well as a gym were acquired and redesigned for school operations.
In all grades , respectively, there are two classes, in the vintages 5-10 each one in the master / Realschule and grammar branch.
At the end of the ninth (secondary school) or tenth school year, the secondary school certificate , secondary school certificate and extended secondary school certificate are offered. From the 2015/16 school year, the FESH will open a year-by-year upper school level with grades 11 to 13, after which the Abitur or the technical college entrance qualification can be obtained.
The school charges a tuition fee based on the income of the parents .
