The Free Waldorf School Dachsberg is a Waldorf school located in the southern Black Forest in the municipality of Dachsberg (southern Black Forest) .
The Dachsberg Free Waldorf School was officially opened in November 1992. Lessons began in a private house in Görwihl-Rüßwihl. In 1994 the school association bought the school in Wolpadingen with the help of all parents. In addition, lessons are given in rented rooms on the premises of the Goldenhof. What is special about the Dachsberg Waldorf School is that there are two school locations, one in Urberg and one in Wolpadingen , both districts of the Dachsberg community .
Sometimes the students are grouped together in cross-year classes and are taught together. The classes have between 16 and 30 students. 13 class teachers and subject teachers as well as guest teachers teach classes 1 to 12. At the end of the 10th class it is possible to graduate from secondary school . The upper level finishes after the 12th grade according to the Waldorf curriculum. In addition, the secondary school certificate is possible. A 13th school year with a high school diploma can be taken at another Waldorf school with a high school diploma if a student is able and wishes to do so. Around 180 pupils from a large catchment area are currently being taught at the Dachsberg Free Waldorf School.
