Alberto Lopo García (born May 5, 1980 in Barcelona ) is a Spanish football player who is under contract with Deportivo La Coruña .

Career

The Catalan Lopo comes from the youth of Espanyol Barcelona , the local rivals of FC Barcelona . There he played in defense from 1999. In 2006 he moved to Deportivo La Coruña , where he was thrown back by several minor injuries. Nevertheless, Lopo is one of the permanent staff of the Galician team .

Lopo also plays for the Catalan football team .

With 162 yellow cards (as of February 2018) Lopo held the record for the most yellow cards in the Primera Division for some time before Sergio Ramos dropped it.
