Disney's New Mickey Mouse Stories (in English original: Mickey Mouse Works ) is an American animated series by the Walt Disney Company from 1999 and 2000. It shows short stories with the residents of Duckburg .

Each episode of the series consists of different individual episodes of different lengths. These can be divided into three groups: the short “gag cartoons” (each about 90 seconds), the slightly longer “character cartoons” (each about 6 minutes) and the “mouse tales”, each of which lasts about 12 minutes. The latter are re-editions of the classic cartoons of Disney's cartoon characters. The series also includes new short films by Mickey Mouse , Donald Duck , Goofy , Minnie Mouse , Daisy Duck , Primus von Quack and new Silly Symphonies stories.
Production and publication
The series was produced by Toon City and Walt Disney Television Animation Studios in 1999 and 2000, directed by Tony Craig and Roberts Gannaway. The scripts were written by Jess Winfield, Steve Roberts, Tracy Berna, Kevin Campbell and Rick Schneider. Tony Mizgalski was responsible for editing and Benoit Gray composed the music.
It was first broadcast on ABC from May 11, 1999 to October 7, 2000 . Buena Vista Television distributed the series worldwide; the German premiere began on November 18, 1999 on Disney Channel and ran until September 30, 2000. The first broadcast on free TV followed in 2001 on RTL. There were also translations into Finnish and Polish, among others.
Many short films from the series were also shown in Disney's Mickey's Clubhouse .
