The open-air museum of the Danish National Museum (Danish: Frilandsmuseet ) is an open-air museum in Denmark.

The open-air museum is located in Kongens Lyngby in the municipality of Lyngby-Taarbæk north of Copenhagen and is one of the five locations of the Danish National Museum .

It owns 45 farms alone , as well as other houses and mills from Denmark , Scania , southern Schleswig and the Faroe Islands . Most are from the 17th and 18th centuries . These farms are managed as true to the original as possible.
