List of rose varieties

The rose variety 'Freisinger Morgenröte' (Syn .: 'Frisimo', 'Morgenröte', 'Sunrise', 'KORmarter') is an orange-yellow, often- blooming modern shrub rose that was launched in 1988 by W. Kordes' Sons . The rose was created by crossing an unnamed, unpatented seedling with the rose variety ' Lichtkönigin Lucia '.

education

The broad bushy rose 'Freisinger Mörgenröte' forms a tall, spreading shrub. The rose plant is 130 to 170 centimeters high and 60 to 100 centimeters wide.

The flowers, individually or in clusters, made up of 17 to 25 petals form a half-double, highly centered flower in the shape of hybrid tea roses. The flowers have a bright yellow base. The bright orange-yellow, bright petals are usually characterized by a pink border. With age, the flower color fades and the yellow flower base becomes visible. The flowers are 7 to 10 cm in size. The flower is characterized by an intense fragrance. The rose has glossy, medium to dark green, small-leaved leaves.

The remounting rose is hardy ( USDA climate zone 6b to 9b) and loves sunny to partially shaded locations with deep soil. It blooms from June to October and is largely resistant to the well-known rose diseases . Occasionally it shows a susceptibility to black carbon .

The rose variety 'Freisinger Mörgenröte' is suitable as a solitary plant as well as group and area planting and can also be grown as a climbing rose .

The rose cultivar 'Freisinger Dawn' is due to their bright orange yellow color in many Rosarien shown and gardens, including the Europarosarium Sangerhausen , in the rose garden of the city Uetersen, in the Rose Park Reinhausen, in Rosarium Doblhoffpark in Baden near Vienna , in Rosarium Luttum , in Rosarium Petrovic as well as at the Peggy Rockefeller Rose Garden.

Naming

The orange-yellow color of the petals on a yellow background is reminiscent of a sunrise and gave the rose variety the name 'Sunrise' or 'Freising Dawn'.
